Des légumes bio et des pots / Organic vegetables and pots

Article de Francesca Bocci

Corinne and Eric grow organic vegetables, Parlevent, Bangor and welcome every year artists in their local. Unable to sit still, in the month of July, I asked them to exhibit my pots, they immediately agreed to show my work. You can see the pots, the whole month of August and go shopping together. Melons are delicious, but also tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, salads and so on, bon appetit!

Bonjour Armelle,
Congratulations!!!! The combination of organic vegetables and pots is wonderful.
It was also very good that you appeared in the newspaper, and I was very pleased to discover that I could understand most of the newspaper article when I read it in French.

Kind thoughts from all of us here, Nigella Stopit sends you Three Meeyows as I write this!

Bravo Peter, alors vous lisez le français !!! Merci beaucoup à Nigela Stopit, Miko lui fait de grands miaous.
Yes, it's fine to show pots and vegetables together, anyway people think my pots are too expensive to use every day and too cheap as sculpture :-(
Well maybe I will not be able to go back to the clay, as the shoulder don't want to heal.
Maybe I should make some drawings ?
Belle-ile is still full of tourists, so I will wait a little.

Best wishes to you all

I love the "grands miaous", and I am sure that Nigella Stopit will also!

I am never sure what to do about pricing pottery, some potters here charge almost nothing for their work, and it saddens me greatly. It is a hard time to be a potter because people can buy mass produced things for such a low price. I have found some people who still value work that is hand made. My best sales over the last few months have been of crystalline glazed pots. They are quite expensive, but people do value them. I am so sad that you may not be able to work with clay. I have sent a longer Email to you about that.

One day I will have to do a sound recording of Nigella Stopit saying "miaous" with a New Zealand accent.., I am sure that Miko would be delighted to hear her! P, L, & NS xx

Really, pricing pottery is difficult and I am not able to sold my work for nothing. I remember when I was a child, we drunk our coffee in "Limoges" bowls, they were sold at a low price. Nice bowls, white porcelaine with golden decorations. Well it's so.
It's a good idea to do a sound recording of Nigella Stopit saying miaou, I think Miko is so fearful, He would be scarry, maybe ? Poor Miko, this winter a gray cat terrorized the neighborhood cats.
