Expo des artisans et créateurs à Locmaria / Exhibition of craftpeople and designers in Locmaria

Cette exposition organisée par Julie Matel et avec le concours de la Mairie de Locmaria qui a offert la salle de Lanivrec, a réuni une quinzaine d'artisans et de créateurs qui ont exposé leurs oeuvres, ce week-end, dans une bonne ambiance.  C'est la deuxième édition, la première ayant eu lieu pour le marché de Noel.

Julie présentait des sculptures et des bijoux, il y avait également une brodeuse de perles, une crêpière, un pâtissier, deux brodeuses, deux maquettistes, une peintre et mosaïste, deux peintres et une peintre sur plumes, deux céramistes, une maroquinier, un écrivain et sculpteur.

This exhibition organized by Julie Matel and with the assistance of the City Council of Locmaria who offered the room Lanivrec brought together fifteen artisans and designers who exhibited their works, this weekend, in a good atmosphere. This is the second edition, the first having taken place for the Christmas market.

Julie showed sculptures and jewelry, there was also a pearl embroiderer, a crepe maker, a pastry chef, two embroiderers, two designers, a painter and mosaic artist, two painters and a painter on feathers, two ceramists, a leather worker, a writer and sculptor.

Floraison et quelques photos de la dernière cuisson / Blossom and photos of the recent firing

Hier le ciel était couvert et l'éclat de la floraison des fleurs blanches des aubépines et des épines noires n'est pas aussi brillant que lorsque que le ciel est bleu, mais cela dure peu de jours et je voulais quelques photos, sur le chemin de Port Pouldon.

Yesterday the sky was overcast and the brightness of hawthorn and blackthorn  white flowers is not as white as when the sky is blue, but it lasts in a few days and I wanted some photos on the way to Port Pouldon.

Malgré cela, je n'ai pu faire de photos correctes des dernières céramiques, trop de soleil cette fois-ci, ou je ne m'y prends pas au bon moment. Deux appliques ont trouvé une place au mur, photos de jour et de nuit sans flash.

Despite the lack of sun, I could not make good pictures of the recent potteries, too much sun this time, or I was not there at the right moment. Two sconces have found a place on the wall, pictures of the day and night without flash.

Cette dernière pièce assez fine a fléchi à la cuisson, et je l'ai donc accrochée à l'envers, ce n'était pas vraiment l'option du départ et je vais probablement recommencer en surveillant la température du four, mais j'aime assez l'effet "méduse".

This last piece quite fine fell on itself in the firing, and so I hung it upside down, it was not really the first option and I'll probably built another one by monitoring the firing temperature, though I like the 'jellyfish effect'.

Cône 10 tombé, Carnaval 2015

Le four a bien chauffé, il y avait peu de pièces et cet émail donné pour cône 8/9 tient bien quelques degrés de plus. Voici les premières photos en attendant d'en faire de meilleures.

The kiln reached cône 10, there were few pieces and this glaze given for 8/9 cone holds well a few more degrees. Here are the first pictures waiting to do some better ones.

Comme tous les ans, j'aime faire quelques photos du Carnaval de Belle-ile-en-mer, peu de chars cette année et le soleil est arrivé tard, mais pas de pluie. Mon char préféré était celui sur le thème "Avatar" avec toujours la même  équipe dynamique.

Like every year, I went to take some photos of the Carnival of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, a little float this year and the sun came later, but no rain. My preferred one was the one on "Avatar" with always the same dynamic crew.
